Throwing Their Own Words Back

The Daily Show

Gotta Love It

O'Riley Interview (like talking to a brick wall)

Sorry I have no review for the McCain speech - too boring to watch. I'll catch up this weekend. If you watched it, let me know what you thought about it. I'm guessing he talked about being a POW, something about God, and how he loves America. But I could be wrong. Holla back.

Please check this out - Piper Palin, America's new YouTube sensation, Fav Part - "Oh, and another fucking thing about white people: When a black guy gets one, all of a sudden they make a Harvard Law degree something to sneer at? That’s a disqualifier for leadership? Now it’s all about public schools and the PTA?" - Preach!

I assume Obama's eloquence and Ivy League education only add to the opinion that he's an uppity negro...he just can't win with some people... I guess he needs to keep his ass below that glass ceiling, Harvard degree or not. Stay in your place boy!

Obama is an uppity negro...and apparently so are we...that's not why I am not impressed...

so far both sides are talking a whole lotta nothing...at least, Obama can be interesting while talking about nothing...

I actually have to say that thus far, Palin's speech was the most interesting...maybe because it was the first time I heard her speak...

McCain is boring...McCain is creepy...he says warshingtun instead of washington...groshrees instead of goceries, and ourschevles instead of ourselves...wow...maybe that was due to the trauma that was inflicted upon him as a POW.

No matter how boring, I felt it necessary to listen to both sides, regardless of what you believe...or who you are for, it's always best to familiarize yourself with both sides of the coin.

Sounds like your problem is with politics, not Obama. Campaigning is just that - a lot of talking. Articulating your platform - and conveying that platform to the American people.

And I agree, it's my responsibility as an informed voter to listen to both sides of the coin. Which is why I've recorded every hour of campaign coverage for the last 2 weeks. I'm with you on that part.

The RNC always have two faces. No big surprise.

The man was boring. I watched it until I fell asleep. You do not have to be the best speaker in the world, but damn try not to bore people to death - get right to the point. The speech had no meat, I still do not know what he wants to do for the American people (unless he said it while I was sleep). I think people really need to stop saying how Obama speaks well - its not his fault he knows how to give a speech. Mr. Clinton can give a helluva speech and its not their fault McCain can not give a great speech. Palin speech did nothing for me. she did not touch on the issues, same thing for most of the DNC except for Kerry, Obama, B. Clinton and the guy from VA (can't recall his name right now).

RNC name call so they do not have to talk about the issues. The Republicans have no platform right now. They remind me of the DNC a couple years ago.

So um, what are they going to do for the American people again?

I love it when he said - I have been called worst on the basketball court! I know that's right.

McCain's speech was sooooooooo boring. Boring just like him. He spoke so slowly and without emotion i felt like perhaps somebody was reading his speech into his ear one word at a time. I hated everything about his speech and his make up. He was dry and said nothing about the plans he has to implement any of his policies. I would have preferred to have watch my nails grow and then have them ripped out!
